NIHON BASHI 日本橋

Questo è uno dei ponti più famosi in Giappone e si chiama "Nihon bashi" (significa "il ponte del Giappone"). E' il punto di partenza delle 7 strade statali (p.e. SS n.1 detto "Toukaidou"). Ha una lunga storia e si possono vedere tante pitture "ukiyo e" che hanno per soggetto questo ponte. Purtroppo fu costruita un'autostrada sopra questo ponte (come vedete nella foto di oggi) nel 1964 e quindi ha perso il suo bell'aspetto originale.

Circa un mese fa ero a Tokyo, proprio sul "Tokyo Hashi"... beh, vedere un ponte antico sormontato da un cavalcavia dell'autostrada era strano, ma aveva il suo fascino... antico e moderno convivono insieme e ci fanno capire il senso del tempo che scorre, cosi come l'acqua che si muove sotto i due ponti...
